I recently have become a Sabbath keeper because I discovered that Jesus observed the Sabbath as did his followers. I am one of those followers. On Saturdays, I watch the hope channel for my Sabbath fellowship. I am not a Seventh Day Adventist, but if there was a church here, I would be there.
I am a hunter and fisherman, and I am not sure if Adventists do those things. I also was a musician and recorded several albums in my youth. I see from the hope channel that music is allowed even though it is the meat of worship; I mean, steak. Speaking of meat, I don't eat Pork because I don't think Jesus or his followers did. I am not a vegetarian, but it would not bother me to be one, because I don't like the clean up when meat is cooked.
My wife left twenty some years ago. Divorce was never in my plans, but my marital status has remained "divorced" for all these years. It would be very hard to marry again, just because I have been alone so long. Yet I know loneliness on most days and still long for a companion. I take the words of Jesus very seriously. More than once he said for a man not to marry a divorced woman. This is a large part of the reason I am still single.
A few years ago I wrote a book about hunting with hounds. This has been my hobby since my youth. The book was well received and included testimony to my faith.
I have attended Seventh Day Adventist churches in Oregon, Washington, Arkansas, North Dakota, North Carolina and Florida. Most of them, I think I could fit in, one or two of them probably not so much.
My desire is to follow Jesus. I will not depart from him or his commands in order to find a mate.
If you are still reading this, thank you. I wish you good health, and deepest joy. The Lord Bless you and keep you and cause his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you Peace beyond comprehension. David

I love the outdoors. I train hunting dogs on most days. Love to fish, trap, hike, camp. Enjoy watching football, and played in high school. Love stimulating discussions on theology and the Bible. Love to drive, and love this wonderful land, all of it. I don't really like cities, but I like every state and country I have ever lived in or visited.
Cycling, Skiing, Swimming, Walking / Hiking
Favorite food: all food is my favorite if I am hungry. Although I no longer eat animals the Bible calls unclean.
Favorite color: blue, if I am on the ground. Green, if I am not.
Favorite animal: Dog. This mans' best freind.
Favorite terrain: mountains, with trout streams and clear pure water.
Favorite musical instrument: all of them for listening to, including the human voice. But I enjoy playing guitar, only because it is the instrument on which I can express myself.
Favorite music: most of it. But the old hymns blow me away. So rich.
Favorite church: I have not found it yet. I am still trying. Started looking when I was a little boy. Each church seems to pick its own favorite scriptures and ignore others.
Favorite scripture; well, now that would depend on each moment. Right now: "...and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is. That which is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1,2
Favorite car: any car or truck that can get me and my dogs deep in the woods, high in the mountains, down to the rivers, out on the prairies, over to the coast.
Favorite times; sunrise and sunset.
Favorite season: fall
Favorite Savior: Only Jesus.
