Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am active in my church- with music and bible study. I enjoy a quiet night at home: board games, a good book, or a movie just as much as I enjoy the outdoors: four wheeling, bicycling, hiking and water activities. I love camping as well. My tastes in movies and music are eclectic but I strive for those that are uplifting and support christian values. I spend a lot of time with my family and am privileged to watch my small nieces grow up. :)
Sports: Cycling, Running, Swimming, Volleyball, Walking / Hiking
Favorite things: I'm adventurous when it comes to food: I've traveled and I like diverse cuisine. Sometimes I still crave dak-galbi from my time as a missionary in South Korea. I also enjoy a simple home cooked meal out of the garden. My childhood favorite was lasagna. My favorite colors are blues and greens. But I guess it depends on the mood. :) My favorite things include: a day at the lake, spending time with family, a good book, being cozy by the fire, a walk in the woods- again it depends on the mood.
Last reading: I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction and I spend a lot of time reading about psychology and mental health. I've also been re-reading through Dave Ramsey's books, and I believe in biblical principles for money-management. I believe that good stewardship is very important and can create stability and opportunity for outreach, mission and supporting the church like never before. Too often our members are caught up in debt and not even being faithful in tithe and offerings- so our churches and schools are in financial trouble.
